Journey into the world of designer kitchens.

Kitchen Design

Summary

Besides the trends that follow year in and year out, we generally set the same goals while conceiving a design kitchen: we want to create an efficient and comfortable workspace that allows us to cook in a functional and, of course, welcoming way. The designer kitchen is a multi-functional area where we meet to eat, laugh together, to do our homework and to give life to cooking experiments together.

Therefore, dreaming about your future design kitchen is intoxicating.

Choosing a design kitchen

Technology and desire for nature is a combination that is increasingly observed in today’s modular kitchen. On one hand, “intelligent” appliances capable of communicating with the home automation system is gaining importance and on the other hand, innovative, easy to clean, practically indestructible and environmentally friendly solutions are being sought.

Words like “sustainable” and “ecological” frequently echo among the proposals of companies. There are many areas where design kitchenscan be reconsidered from a green perspective from low energy saving construction methods to the introduction of recycled materials.

The best design kitchens

Although the all-white kitchen is destined to never go out of fashion, current design trends leave room for new brushstrokes of color. Why not paint a blue sky with white clouds on the ceiling, for example?

Whatever your dreams are, we can surely offer you the style in tune with your personality (and your space!). So, let’s see some kitchen design ideas right away.

Modern Kitchen

The design of a modern kitchen aims to create clean, open, functional and relaxing spaces. It is a succession of pure lines, graphic elements, and a combination of well-calibrated colors and the magic of natural light. The cabinets have glossy doors without knobs. There are integrated appliances that disappear from sight which create a harmonious fusion of style.

Stainless steel is a staple of the modern kitchen. It is an indestructible material which is super easy to clean and resistant to heat and wear. Similar to glass its reflective properties can also help illuminate the room. For these reasons, the stainless steel kitchen is among the most sought after and desired by all.

Classic Kitchen

Classic cuisine is timeless. It can be transformed according to the changing needs of use while always maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere. It often has a neutral color palette of white, cream, beige and browns of varying intensity. A highly distinctive element is the worktop for which black granite or Carrara marble might be used. Moreover, these two materials are praised for their refined beauty.

Even the details stand out in classic kitchens. The aluminum tie rods give a vintage touch without dating the space while a few strategically placed shelves create an exclusive feeling of with specifically chosen objects and classic kitchen curtains can help create a more intimate environment.

Minimal Kitchen

As the name suggests, the minimal kitchen is based on the concept of downsizing everything and to do more with less. It is therefore equipped only with what is strictly necessary to make it functional. Regardless of the type of material used, it is defined by elegant lines, integrated hi-tech appliances and an occasional touch of color.

The easiest way to achieve a minimalist look is to choose a neutral color palette along with natural materials and practical storage solutions and with a strictly marble worktop.

The design of the corner kitchen was created to meet the structural needs of small and medium sized rooms. It is characterized by the presence of an L-shaped cabinet that provides ample storage space and allows you to take advantage of every available centimeter. Its architecture offers the possibility to create two distinct zones, one for cooking and the other for washing; which makes the workflow organized and efficient.

Also known as the U-shaped kitchen, the horseshoe-shaped kitchen has a three-sided furniture arrangement to provide plenty of storage space and extra work surfaces. Thanks to its operational flexibility, it can accommodate a full range of appliances, including washing machine and dryer, concentrating the technological core of the house in one room.

A section of the furniture can act as a partition between the kitchen and living area in an open space environment. In such a case it is advisable to make the cupboards accessible from both sides.

Living Kitchen

Emerging trend of the last ten years, the living kitchen blends with the living room and dining room to create a single large room. The house is thus transformed into a connected space and the division into zones is no longer made by the walls but by the careful placement of the furniture.

Keeping the feeling of spaciousness of an open plan design, the design of the open plan kitchen on the living room uses fixed screens and self-supporting structures to create areas and corners reserved for cooking, relaxing and having fun. Integrated seating areas or even multimedia centers can be introduced into the connecting spaces, which is an effective way to promote the cohesion of the layout that can make the kitchen look larger.
